Breakfast and After School Clubs
Breakfast Club runs daily from 8:00 to 8:35 each school day by Nansen school staff designed to support our students and families.
Through our collaboration with Greggs, we are able to provide free breakfast, with a weekly supply of 30 loaves of bread, to ensure that the children have the opportunity to start their day with a nutritious meal. Children also have the opportunity to have cereal and milk during this time. This is offered to all who attend.
In addition to breakfast, the club offers a variety of activities. The children can participate in different sports such as badminton, football, cricket and dodgeball, led by our school sports coaches. We also provide board games and indoor games for children to enjoy. The club is a great place for students to socialise and spend time with friends in a happy, supervised setting. During the summer months, the club makes use of our forest school, giving the children an opportunity to enjoy outdoor activities and thrive in a different environment.
Priority spaces for breakfast club is given to those children from working families and any families and children who may require additional support, both at home and in school. The aim of the club is to provide a safe, engaging, and supportive environment where students can prepare for the school day ahead.
