School Council

Our School Council gives pupils the opportunity to experience democracy first-hand and understand the importance of being active and responsible citizens. School Councillors help shape school life by contributing to important decisions, selecting fundraising initiatives and leading a range of events throughout the year.

The School Council meet regularly to share ideas, represent the views of their classmates and work together to help make our school a place where everyone feels happy, valued and proud to belong.

Responsibilities include:

• Acting as ambassadors for Nansen Primary School.
• Promoting the importance of good attendance.
• Representing pupil voice on behalf of their class.
• Working with and supporting the local community.
